Good ideas, hard work - intelligent business....
We're proud of our work at Volume.
Our aim is to always create cutting-edge campaigns, stage exciting events and achieve relevant results - whatever the budget.
The Box
Over the past three years, we have established The Box as a nationally-recognised venue on the touring circuit.
A converted nightclub, we were practically 'given the keys' to impliment a strategy that would see The Box forge its own way forward in a town already home to two other established live music venues.
From designing the website and implimenting on-line ticket sales to booking artists and promoting nights, we have helped steer the venue to new territories - thanks to great relationships with staff, artists and customers alongside a lot of faith from the owner.
Bands and artists we have brought to The Box include Funeral For A Friend, Idlewild, The Bluetones, Babybird, The Joy Formidable, Twisted Wheel, Sham 69, The Beat and many more.
In addition to putting on top original bands from across the UK, we actively support upcoming local talent, making our local shows amongst the best promoted unsigned gigs in the country."Volume have been instrumental in our success" - The Box owner Ray Bruchez
Hullabaloo Kids
Hullabaloo is a company that provides you with information on a wide range of activity classes for pre-school children in various locations across the UK & Ireland.
We're were given the brief of securing press and media coverage for their Paint and Portrait package with PR in South Cheshire and North Staffordshire (May 2011).
Embracing the natural beauty of mums-to-be, colourful pictures are painted on their baby bumps and then photographed as a treasured momento.
Thanks to the stunning images of Simon J Newbury Photography, our copy and contacts - we secured two front pages out of three local papers with a double-page feature in the other.
And the campaign led to a special feature on ITV Granada Reports on June 23, 2011.
Our clients were inundated with calls and job offers from across the region following the broadcast which also generated huge traffic on their websites.
"Thanks to Volume PR, we were front page news and approached by Granada Reports - I couldn't believe it" - Hullabaloo Kids' Sharon Burrows
Live in the Park 2010
Volume were asked to assist Cheshire East Council's outdoor events team with organising the centrepiece of the 2010 Crewe Carnival.
Headlined by Popstar to Operstar winner Darius Campbell, we ran a PR campaign alongside their own in-house while booking the majority of artists, scheduling and providing stage management on the day.
Thousands of people turned out despite torrential rain to enjoy six hours of diverse live entertainment.
"We were delighted with the contribution Volume PR made" - CEC Outdoor Events manager Andrew Latham
Crewe Live
We originally came up with the concept of a live music festival in Crewe - designed to boost the local economy, promote local talent and businesses while uniting the town in a celebration.
With high-profile events virtually non-existent in South Cheshire's largest town, this was a cause we did and still do feel very strongly about.
We took the bull by the horns, running everything from the PR campaign to booking bands and installing PA equipment as Crewe Live '08 drew hundreds of visitors and was hailed as a huge success.
Based loosly on the Camden Crawl and in stark contrast to the neighbouring Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival, we raised the game in 2009 before returning in 2011 to stage Crewe's biggest-ever music festival.
Featuring a mammoth 150+ bands and artists across 12 stages over four days, high-profile names Funeral For A Friend, Twisted Wheel and Kid British joined scores of local talent to draw thousands of people to the town.
Venues reported massive upturns in business while once again, the event proved a real triumph for everyone concerned.
We have big plans for 2012.
"The festival is great for us and the whole area because there's never usually much happening in Crewe" - venue manager James Vann
"Fair play, Crewe was pretty awesome" - Funeral For A Friend
